the rural people living in the remote,
inaccessible mountainous regions. By
introducing new appropriate technologies
in many fields such as Agriculture,
Horticulture, Biomass Utilization,
Disaster Management, Food & Water

tried to incorporate the native wisdom
with latest technology. This has brought
the common village folk nearer to the
organization but has also ensured the
higher success rate of various programs
initiated by the GRASS.
The organization believes that
awareness, be it environmental or any
other kind must go hand in hand with
social and economics development of the
people so as to raise their living
standard. |
