Geographically bamboo in India is found in every agro climate zone. Bamboo plants are important to the economics of the rural people and it is known as the Green Gold.

GRASS has initiated product diversification through organizing local bamboo workers.

The biomass of rural communities has not been adequately used by villagers. GRASS through its technological intervention, has developed their various uses. Biomass based entrepreneurship are developed to generate local employment.
